Italian restaurants, sub shops, calzone counters and Italian delis sit next to the pizzerias on this site because most of them bake pizza too, often from the same dough. Full-service Italian restaurants take reservations for dinner, add a tip line for table service (15-20% is customary) and usually run a cheaper lunch menu on weekdays. Sub and sandwich shops are counter-order and quick, with sizes by the inch or in half and whole lengths. Calzones and strombolis are priced like a medium pizza and are large enough to share. Italian delis and bakeries sell by weight and by the piece, and many close mid-afternoon.

Hours are published for 7 days a week. The most common schedule is 11 amโ€“8 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach The Focaccia House at (657) 244-8472; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. Its website is thefocacciahouse.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.

this is an amazing place to get delicious refreshing sandwiches. they have all kinds of different pastas like Bolognese, lasagna and truffle. The spinach and ricotta arancini is my favorite. My Go-To order is the recanati and add a chicken cotoletta and goat cheese, itโ€™s so good. Thereโ€™s clean patio seating and a small little bar area. The customer service is amazing with very friendly and helpful staff and welcoming, kind owners. Fresh ingredients and the sandwichโ€™s come out very quick. The cooks strive to make the order exactly how you like and make sure to have your order accurate.

deliziosa! cotto sandwich was unbelievable. the bread soft but still had awesome crunch to it. the arugula was fresh and had that nice peppery flavor you want with a savory sandwich like this. the parmigiana was also so good, the sauce was well balanced and the eggplant not mushy. the owner (Michele) was kind enough to let us sample the gnocchi in gorgonzola and the potato with pancetta, both were outstanding! great food, great service. highly recommend!

Had some amazing Italian sandwiches here. Both were completely different in ingredients and both tasted fantastic. The roast beef one and the spicy njdua one were so good.

Came across this place during a bike ride, and it turned out to be a really nice stop ๐Ÿค The place has an authentic feel, almost like stepping into a small Italian corner with fresh bread, good ingredients, and real flavors. I tried the Rustica focaccia. Soft, fresh bread, tender beef, parmesan, and spinach - itโ€™s delicious and well balanced๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ˜‹ They also have other classic Italian options like lasagna, pasta bolognese, and some other dishes I havenโ€™t tried yet - definitely something to come back for (with a bit more room in my stomach ๐Ÿ˜„, as the sandwich is quite big and very filling). Another thing I pay attention to is the atmosphere. Thereโ€™s a fountain nearby, which makes it a perfect spot to sit, relax, enjoy a good meal, and catch some sun. Would definitely come back!
